Mark McKenna is licensed by the Medical Examiners’ State Boards of Florida and Georgia to practice Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Mark McKenna is passionate about the wellbeing of his patients and is dedicated to serving his community. Originally, the doctor is from New Orleans, LA and was educated at the Medical School of Tulane University. Immediately after Medical School, Mark began his practice with the help of his father.
Throughout his career, Mark McKenna has learned a lot and gained a lot of experience. Besides being a doctor, Mark McKenna has invested in real estate. When the city of New Orleans was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina back in 2005, most of his businesses were destroyed. However, this didn’t kill his desire to help others by providing better housing. He was at the forefront of rebuilding the city to its former glory. Mark McKenna moved to Atlanta, GA in 2007 and launched his aesthetic and wellness medical practice known as ShapeMed, but later sold it to Life Time Fitness in 2014.

The doctor is married to Gianine, and the couple has two children, Pomeranian and Milana Elle. Previously, Mark sat on the boards of New Orleans Development and New Orleans Jazz Festival. He is now an active member of Entrepreneurs Organization. After being in the industry of medical aesthetics for many years, Mark founded a medical aesthetic company known as OVME. Currently, OVME is a publicly traded company.
Mark is a hard worker and is determined to improve the lives of those around him. His typical day begins at around 630 in the morning when he gets his daughter out of bed for breakfast. He then takes a quick shower and heads to work until 6 pm. After work, he heads straight home for dinner and later trains up to 9 pm at JiuJitsu. After training, Mark heads home where he works until he falls asleep. To ensure that he achieves the best every day, Mark McKenna sets goals and practices visualization. Moreover, he likes to meditate once a day and attributes his success to goal setting and meditation. The trend of smoking in America has declined, and this excites Mark.
