Together they spent $13k on dinner, $9k on drinks, and a whopping $91k at the club. OG Perez and Jay Z were joined by OG Juan’s wife Desieree Perez, the Roc Nation Execs, and a few other friends. The night ended with only Jay Z, Perez, and four of their closest friends at Playroom Nightclub. They bought over 40 bottles of champagne and left a tip of $11,100.
The key to all of this though, is every product they bought was one that Jay Z owns. There $113,000 birthday bash only helped to line Jay Z’s pockets. The sensation over OG Perez’ infamous birthday tab has also helped to provide free advertising for Jay Z’s brands. This sort of effortless work can only be expected from world giants like Jay Z and OG Perez.
The two have been friends for decades and have shared many business ventures together. Although Jay Z is the brand face, OG Perez and his wife Desiree Perez have been running the behind the scenes operation quietly for more than 20 years.
OG Perez met Jay Z when he was only 28 years old through Roc-A-Fella Records, and the two instantly bonded. It’s no wonder that Jay Z dropped so much money on his best friend’s 50th birthday. Together the two currently own and run a line of sports bars and lounges around New York City that are known for live music, celebrity guests, and sports entertainment.
