A well known name in the Austin, Texas area and regular in the media, Dr. Jennifer Walden is asked about various advances in technology about plastic surgery. Born in the Austin area to parents that were surgical nurses and dentists, Jennifer grew up wanting to help people.
Dr. Walden attended the Anderson High School and was accepted into the University of Texas Medical Branch however she was placed on the waitlist. Even though she was waitlisted, it did not stop her from proving that she had what it took to be the top of her class. Graduating with honors and following her residency, Jennifer went on to a fellowship in New York.
Upon her arrival in New York, Jennifer went right to work at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Surgery Center. Once her fellowship was over, Jennifer enjoyed her time so much in New York that she continued to live there for 7 years. Once she gave birth to a set of twins, Dr. Walden decided it was a good time to return to Austin. Upon moving back to Austin, Dr. Walden opened her own private surgery suite.
Dr. Walden covers a number of subjects on her “Looking Good and Living Well” talk show that is featured on an ABC affiliate in the Austin area. She has also appeared on various national news outlets like Fox News and E! Dr. Walden has been honored as one of the best 20 celebrity plastic surgeons in the United States.
Dr. Walden was asked to appear on the Early Show following the FDA release of the silicone breast implants which are used for the general public. Having appeared in print, she appears in media outlets like Teen Vogue and Cosmo. Appearing also in Self, Shape and even Bridal Guide, her knowledge is looked to when it comes to making a decision on plastic surgery.
