hey dan,
your guitar work is strangely beautiful and complex. perhaps I hold this opinion as I don’t listen to metal much at all, but i admire the way the guitar is able to capture the entirety of what you intend to convey.
I think as a whole you need to work on vocals if you really want your piece to strike a chord in people. as a singer/songwriter myself I’ve been criticised constantly about how my own guitar work isn’t to the level that my vocals are.
technical stuff aside, it’s really all about giving it to God isn’t it.
